Calendar
Medina Montessori will follow the school calendar for holidays consistent with the Bellevue School District; however it is unlikely those days-off used by BSD for public school in-service will also apply to Medina Montessori.
Medina Montessori School operates on the basis of 16 class hours per week covered in four days, rather than the traditional 15 class hours spread over five days. This allows for the school sponsored fieldtrips taking place outside of class time and for families to pursue special interests.
September/October: Friday, 2007, 9:45 a.m. Kelsey Creek Farm, docented visit.
November:
Friday, November 2007, 9:30 a.m. Grocery shopping at Whole
Foods, Bellevue for Northwest Harvest.

February: Friday, February 2008, 10:00 a.m. One field trip oriented to the physical sciences.
March: Wednesday, March, 2008 9:15 a.m. Walking-trip to Wells-Medina Nursery, docented visit. * Please make arrangement for a parent/trusted adult to accompany your child on this Wednesday outing.
April : Thursday, April 2008, 9:30 a.m. @ MMS, MDA hop-a-thon. (Docented Disability Awareness presentation at MMS on the prior Tuesday, April , 2008, 9:00 a.m.)
May: Friday, May 2008, 9:45 a.m., Preschool Prowl @ Overlake Blueberry Farm, docented visit.
